Boni Li-A-Sam started his musical education when he was 8 years old. After two years he began to study the violin and soon afterwards he joined several orchestras and ensembles, both classical and popular for the following ten years.
At the age of 15 he became interested in playing classical piano alongside his violin studies and performances.
For the years to come, Boni Li-A-Sam absorbed all the music - classical and jazz in particular - which would become the later influence on his artistic approach.
A long period of musical dedication and development followed, including the accompanying of several vocalists and instrumentalists.
Among many venues, Boni Li-A-Sam performed at The Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Bösendorfer Saal in Vienna, Centre Chopin in Paris, and for the Dutch Parliament in The Hague.
Boni Li-A-Sam will perform compositions written by Oscar Peterson and his own originals among compositions of others.
